Saturday, July 1:

Matawan Firework Display

Where: Lake Lefferts Lakefront Park, Matawan, NJ 07747
When: Activities begin at 9 pm
About: Relax by the lake and enjoy Matawan Borough’s fireworks display. There will be face-painting, food trucks, balloon animals, and light up novelties for the children. Additionally, a KISS cover band, Alive 75, will be playing across the lake. The fireworks will be launched off a barge in the center of Lake Lefferts. (rain date Sunday, July 2)

Sunday, July 2:

Freehold Borough’s 4th of July Concert & Fireworks           

Where: Freehold Raceway Mall, Freehold, NJ 07728
When: Gates open 6:30 pm
About: Join the Borough of Freehold and WJRZ 100.1 from 7pm – 9pm for live music and food vendors, followed by a fireworks display at dusk.

Monday, July 3:

Bradley Beach Fireworks on the Beach

Where: 60 Ocean Ave, Bradley Beach, NJ 07720
When: Show begins at 9 pm
About: Fireworks display at the Bradley Beach Beachfront.

Keansburg Park Fireworks

Where: Keansburg Amusement Park, 275 Beachway Ave, Keansburg, NJ 07734
When: Fireworks begin at dusk, also take place July 4th at dusk
About: Bring the family for a great night at Keansburg! Enjoy the new attractions, such as two new water slides and a new rollercoaster, while watching the fireworks. The park has created two nights for fireworks to make it easier for people to accommodate.

Tuesday, July 4:

Long Branch Oceanfest



Where: Long Branch Beach, 4 Ocean Ave, Long Branch, NJ 07740
When: 10am – 10pm
About: Oceanfest is the largest Independence Day event in New Jersey, an all-day family-friendly festival featuring live music, food and craft vendors, games and booths for kids, and “the most spectacular fireworks display you’ll see anywhere along the Jersey coast.” Fireworks begin at 9 pm.

Ocean Grove’s Independence Day Parade

Where: Main Ave, Ocean Grove, NJ 07756
When: 10 am - Noon
About: A parade honoring the rich history of our nation.

Asbury Park Fireworks Display

Where: Asbury Park Beach, 1300 Ocean Ave, Asbury Park, NJ 07712
When: Show starts at 9 pm
About: Grab a towel and a spot on the beach to watch the Asbury Park fireworks display over the boardwalk.

East Brunswick 4th of July Celebration

Where: East Brunswick Community Arts Center, 715 Cranbury Rd, East Brunswick, NJ 08816
When: Doors open at 4 pm
About: Join the township of East Brunswick for free bounce rides, live bands, food vendors, a wing-eating contest, and fireworks. Wing-eating contest starts at 7 pm, and fireworks begin at 9:45 pm!

Monroe Township July 4th Celebration

Where: Thompson Park, Fir Drive, Monroe Township, NJ 08831
When: Begins at 5:00 PM
About: Come celebrate the 4th at Thompson Park! This venue features free rides, various food vendors, entertainment, and a live DJ in a great location. Fireworks begin at sundown.

Sunday, July 9:

Marlboro Firework Display

Where: Marlboro Recreation Center, 1996 Recreation Way, Marlboro Township, NJ 07746 When: Starting at 7 PM
About: Bring a blanket and lay out on the field with your family behind the recreation center in Marlboro. Enjoy live music (ranging from swing to blues to rock and roll), and concessions provided by Whole Foods while watching a great display.
